Our Mission
The Exchange Running Collective was founded with the mission to cultivate meaningful change in lifestyle and culture.
Based in East Nashville, TN we offer a gathering place to make an impact in the lives of others and change the future landscape by awakening the social conscious mainstream interest in Running.
When we launched in 2022, we were intentional in where our retail store was located. We live here, we work here, we run here. Our store, The Exchange is a place that creates, connects and celebrates the culture of Running. It is your clubhouse.

People are the source of our strength, and we always believe in them. We know we are strongest when everyone can participate equitably in our community. The Exchange is a safe space where everyone can be respected and able to put down their armor, come as they are, and feel welcome.
OUR VISION
Our vision is a better world through Running Culture x Art x Social Change.
- We believe culture gives us meaning, gets translated into attitudes, and drives behavior. Nobody owns Running culture. But we can shape and advance the culture of Running, together.
- We believe the generosity of art is a way to engage people. It opens doors and turns on lights. It connects the disconnected and creates bonds of culture. This is the generous art of turning on a light. Not only does the light help you read, it helps everyone else in the room as well.
- We believe change is never complete. Everything is born from change. If you are not busy being born, you are busy dying.
THE LOGO
Inspired by the company vision of creating a better world through running, art and social change, the logo combines a running track to align with the running consumer; a triangle represents the three pillars of the company vision; and a lower case “e” to allude to the company name “exchange."
All of these ideas combine to create a unique expression that encapsulates everything The Exchange is currently forming as a brand and will continue to build into the future.
